 Canadian Junior
Men's and Women's Curling Championships

January 19th to 27th, 2002

The Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club will be hosting the Canadian Men's and Women's Junior Curling Championships, the KARCHER Juniors 2002, on site and at the Cahill Stadium in the City of Summerside, PEI.  This event will be another excellent opportunity where Summerside will showcase its world-class hospitality before a national and international audience. The competition is part of the Canadian Curling Association's "Season of Champions" and has national sponsors such as KARCHER, Tim Horton's, FORD and NOKIA. The two final games will  be broadcast nationally by CBC Sports TV

Come, join us and see the athleticism of 26 young men's and women's teams representing our provinces and territories and the winners being crowned Canadian Champions.  What a feeling it must be for two junior teams to go on and represent our country at the 2002 World Curling Championships.

With the fabulous support of Island Tel, we are able to offer Sympatico Internet Access. The connection at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club allows the media to upload their news and photos of the event to their newspapers, magazines and internet sites. The Sympatico High Speed Internet Access at the Hotel will allow the competitors, officials and coaches to pick up their messages, or submit their school assignments or perform any other communications back to their provinces.
